Miscellaneous Downloads
A few extra files you may want.
Here are some miscellaneous downloads I thought I should put on here, more will come as I think of them, but here are a few to start off with:
Instab - This is the program I used in the beginning to make most of my tabs (after figuring out it was REALLY tedious to do them by hand). Very easy to use, and you can easily convert the .tab files to .txt just by opening them in notepad, getting rid of the header, and then saving them as .txt.
Power Tab Software - This is the program I use now to notate all of my songs that I write or transcribe. Yeah, Guitar Pro is better, but I like this one because it can help you with Theory a bit (it has a script that tells you whether or not what you wrote actually FITS into the Key Signature you made it in, very useful!).
Illusion Theme - This is my windows background of choice. Also, for the contest in 11th grade literature, Zack and I used this background as the background for our poem "A Vampire's Conscience". I still have the laminated copy of that, pretty cool looking. =D
Finale Notepad 2006 - You will need this program to open any Finale files.
