Mobile Fighter G Gundam is the second Gundam series I got into. The basic premise is that the nations of the Earth are fighting over dominance over the planet via a tournament involving Gundams, which is held on the planet Earth. Each nation gets it's own Gundam to participate in this tournament. The storyline follows Neo Japan's fighter Domon Kasshu, pilot of the Shining Gundam, and his adventures in the tournament as well as his search for his brother.

I have no idea exactly how many episodes this series lasts, but it's certainly not short. If you're a fan of Giant Robots, or world domination, or just plain ol' good anime, you should check this series out!
